ECEN 4638:  Control Systems Lab

Lecturer: Dr. Todd Murphey
Time: F 3:00-5:00 PM
Location: ECCR 1B65
Pre/co-requisites:
ECEN 4138

Topics Covered: This class is intended to complement ECEN 4138 (Control System Analysis).  As such, it should present students with hardware experience to reinforce what they have learned in ECEN 4138.
Textbook:
Franklin, Powell and Emami-Naeini, Feedback Control of Dynamic Systems, Addison-Wesley, Fourth Edition.
Course Objectives:  Students should be able to experimentally verify the design of linear feedback system stability, response, and performance.

Classroom grading will consist of labs (60%), peer assessment (20%), and the final project (20%).
We have decided that lab reports (written in groups) will be due on the Wednesday after the time the lab is completed.
